A long awaited appointment

Every year, at the CARF Foundation we experience a long-awaited event. An unforgettable day in which benefactors and friends live a day of emotions together with the seminarians and formators of Bidasoa and with the students of the Ecclesiastical Faculties of the University of Navarra.

The dean of the Faculty of Theology welcomes us to the classrooms where seminarians and diocesan priests and religious men and women from dozens of countries are being formed. In the aula magna we will listen to the life and formation testimonies of some of the students.

Get to know the Bidasoa International Seminar

After the visit to the classrooms of the University of Navarra, we will move to the Bidasoa International Seminary to participate in the solemn Holy Mass, sung by the seminary choir. We will have lunch with the seminarians and formators and celebrate the meeting with the presentation of the backpacks of sacred vessels to those who finish their formation and return to their countries of origin.

Day 1: Departure from Madrid

Schedule of the day

7:00 h: Presentation at Madrid Puerte de Atocha train station and departure to Pamplona at 7:32 h.

Arrival in Pamplona and transfer to the Ecclesiastical Faculties of the University of Navarra (UNAV).

11:00 h: Welcome and testimonials at UNAV.

12:00 h: Transfer to the Bidasoa International Seminary and solemn Holy Mass.

13:30 h: Lunch with the seminarians and formators.

Celebration and delivery of the backpacks of sacred vessels made by the Patronato de Acción Social.

16:30 h: Solemn exposition and blessing with the Blessed Sacrament.

17:30 h: Prayer of the holy rosary at the chapel.

18:30 h: Departure from the university to the station.

19:35 h: Departure of the Pamplona-Madrid train.

Trip details

Before completing the booking form, please read carefully the conditions of the trip scheduled for March 2026.

Price per person: the cost of the train ticket to Pamplona. Each guest is responsible for his/her own ticket. Lunch with the students, in charge of Bidasoa.
