The Catholic Church celebrates the Assumption of the Virgin Mary on August 15. We remember that Christ took his Mother to Heaven. The place of the Virgin Mary was in Heaven, where her Son was waiting for her. And so, on a day that remains unknown to us, Jesus took her with him to heavenly glory.
