Code of Conduct

This reporting channel allows the CARF Foundation to prevent and detect any irregular, illegal, or criminal behavior.
The CARF Foundation aspires to ensure that its conduct and that of the people associated with it complies with current legislation, ethical principles, and the principles of social responsibility generally accepted by the society in which it operates.
The code of the CARF Foundation, It was approved by the Foundation's board of trustees on September 29, 2021, along with the launch of the reporting channel. You can read it here. here.

Reporting a violation of the code

The CARF Foundation provides interested parties with a communication channel for receiving complaints related to legislative breaches and/or practices contrary to the principles established in its code of conduct, which may have been committed by or within the foundation, and other situations or events that require the attention of the Regulatory Compliance Officer, who can be contacted by email at:

You may also request a face-to-face interview with the Compliance Officer.

CARF guarantees maximum confidentiality in the investigation processes of the complaints received, protecting the identity of the complainants and the accused and their reputation, informing only the persons strictly necessary in the process.

The personal data provided through the complaints channel will be processed by CARF exclusively for the management of the communication received, as well as for the performance of any actions and investigations deemed necessary to clarify and resolve the complaint received.

What happens to the complaint?

The information provided through this communication channel will only be kept for as long as is necessary to decide whether or not to initiate an investigation into the reported events.

Three months after notification, the data will be deleted from the complaint system.

What information must the complainant include?

Complaints will not be accepted without the following information from the complainant: name, surname, telephone number and e-mail address.

Reported facts

Regarding the facts denounced, the following must be stated:

– The individuals involved (identity of those reported, if you know their names, positions, or roles within the CARF Foundation).

- What the reported fact consists of, being as concise as possible in the exposition and stating all relevant data for the clarification of the report.

– You must also indicate whether you are a volunteer, supplier, donor, beneficiary, or affiliated with the CARF Foundation and in what capacity.

- Precise or approximate date of the facts denounced.

– If you have any documentation that you believe proves the alleged breach, please attach it to the email containing your complaint.

The CARF Foundation greatly values its users, partners, members, employees, volunteers, suppliers, and collaborators reporting any behavior that violates our code of conduct and is irregular, illegal, or criminal.
Therefore, we make this channel available to all users so that they can clearly report any breaches of the code or any irregularities, illegal activities, or criminal behavior that they detect within the CARF Foundation.
