In the first months of his pontificate, Pope Leo XIV has sought to emphasize the centrality of Jesus Christ, devotion to the Virgin Mary and looking towards eternal life as the spiritual axes that will mark his ministry. Although it is still too early to clearly define the direction of his papacy, these priorities are strengthening the faith of many believers and outlining a pastoral style centered on prayer and Christian hope.
